Rock-pop and Hipsters

Dear Friend,
When i started writing this post it was going to be all about the music and how much fun i had at the Roof Top Concert in Down Town Provo last night. But as I did a little research for this post something really cool came up I wanted to share with you. If you ask anyone who knows me, they would tell you I am as unhipster as they come. I like music on the radio, lets be real I LOVE music that's on the radio. I tell you this so that you understand that when I say I really like Neon Trees you know that I really only know the two songs that are on the radio and their great cover of Baby, watch here.
Most of the band was at last nights concert: The Songs of Tom Petty. They were so much fun to watch that this morning I looked them up, so i would know their names for this post. One of the first things that came up in my google search bar was "Neon Trees Mormon". So I clicked on it. I found this really good article about them and their faith. Here is the quote I wanted to share with you, this is Branden Campbell the bassist for the band:
“Bands like Paramore are very clean, they only have chocolate milk on their rider. I know for us it’s given us a ground to stand on when things get crazy. Things do get crazy, we’ve seen a lot,” says Glenn sitting at Sydney’s Universal Music headquarters, his tooth still chipped from falling offstage last month. “Maybe I should keep it, my badge of honour,” he laughs.

Here are some photos from last night. Enjoy
